소스를 보시면 타임리프 문법중 address 하고 ?가 있는데, 이것은 타임리프의 기능으로 city가 null 이면 출력을 하지 않는 것입니다. null인 경우 nullPointException이 나오는데 이것을 if로 있는지 없는지 체크 하고 있는경우 없는경우 작성하다 보면 지저분해지는 것을 간편하게 사용할 수 있습니다.

추가#


public String newMembers(@Valid Member member, BindingResult result){ 이런 식으로 바로 Member 엔티티로 받지 않는 이유는 Order와 같은 추가가 필요한 데이터들이나

벨리데이션을 엔티티에서 하게되면, 소스가 지저분해 지고 화면에서의 벨리데이션과 엔티티에서의 벨리데이션을 분리 하지 못하기 때문에 추후 확장을 위해 분리하는 것을 권장드립니다.

엔티티에 불필요한 화면에 대한 로직이 섞일 경우 화면을 수정했는데, 핵심 비즈니스 로직이 안돌거나 핵심 비즈니스 로직을 수정했는데 화면이 깨지는 눈물나는 사태가 발생할 수 있습니다.

또한 현재 예제에서 회원 리스트를 조회후 Member엔티티로 바로 전달하였는데, 이또한 Member엔티티가 아니라 DTO 객체를 통해 전달 하는게 좋습니다.

API를 만들때 절대로 엔티티(Entity)를 반환하면 안되는 이유#

API를 만들때 절대로 엔티티(Entity)를 반환하면 안되는 이유는 Member 엔티티에 Password를 추가하게 되면 Password가 그대로 노출되는 문제가 있습니다.

엔티티의 로직을 변경하게 되면 API Spec이 변경되어 기존과 전혀 다른 동작을 할 수도 있습니다.
